At the intersections of light, space and interaction :: art, design and architecture

LUX is back in 2012!

LUX is pleased to announce it will be lighting up Wellington’s dark nights with a short series of outdoor light installations from September 1 – 9. During the international environmental conference Digital Earth Summit, taking place this year in Wellington, locals and visitors alike will be treated to a walking trail of transformation along the waterfront from the lagoon to Te Papa.

Four stunning installations will grace the city, including Enigmatica, the internationally renowned installation by Australian artist Kit Webster.

Other installations include Wavelight, an interactive projection work by UK artist collective Squidsoup, and installations by local favourites Interrupt Collective of Performance Arcade fame, and the New Zealand premier of Storybox’s internationally exhibited Afterlight.

Downloadable map is available here.
