Announcing WGTN LUX 2013
Between 21st – 24th June 2013, the international WGTN LUX festival will be back for its third year! This year it is bigger and better than ever and includes: a four-day light festival with 16 light works spread through out the city, a two-day symposium being held in the City Gallery and a BYOB (Bring Your Own Beamer) event.
The citywide exhibition will be free to the public and feature a range of international and local artists and designers who are re-invigorating some of the less traveled and explored parts of central Wellington. It will also include a specially commissioned work in partnership with Te Papa to celebrate Matariki.
The symposium will bring together prominent artists and designers using light and technology in the creation of immersive/dynamic physical spaces and objects during an intensive two days of presentation and discussion. This event will feature a broad range of outstanding nationally and internationally recognized speakers, including:
Kimchi and Chips – http://www.kimchiandchips.com/
