Jørn Knutsen

Jørn Knutsen is a designer and researcher at the Oslo School of Architecture and Design. His research is concerned with exploring urban data as a design material through various visual media and applications. This work is a part of the research project YOUrban ( that investigates tools and means to creating engagement and a sense of ownership and responsibility towards our physical, social and cultural world.

At Wellington LUX, Jørn will be talking about work done in collaboration with Einar Sneve Martinussen and Timo Arnall, that uses light painted photography techniques, combined with film to reveal and communicate about the immaterial phenomena and technologies in a networked city.
